The Mind

The urge/emotion that Ganga Mail has been trying to articulate in thousands of words, lyricist Yogesh has put it so beautifully in a few lines:

Kai baar yun hi dekha hai
yeh jo man ki seema rekha hai
man todne lagta hai...

Anjaani pyaas ke peechhe
anjaani aas ke peechhe
man daudne lagta hai...

Often I have seen
these limits set for the mind
the mind seeks to break...

Unknown thirst
unknown desires
this mind seeks to chase...

Kai baar yuhin.wma

Keep searching you will understand what the unknown thirst is someday....very soon

You have provided the solution in the previous post itself - just overcome the fear of mortality and morality.
But then, it is tough. Isn't it???

BTW, don't think "man" = mind. Here "man" can probably be described as desires.

Nice blog, n some wonderful reads,
somewhere i guess the bachelor went missing n the flavour drops down a bit.
Had to go thru this comment twice or thrice n it has reduced from almost a page to the lines tht u see.
Had loads of praises for some pages of yours..
Anyways u write great, not so polished but still shakes up senses and brushes the mind at times

Seeing the Ganga, sitting quietly on its banks at its source in Gomukh - a silence that overpowers dissolving the mind into it!
