Being a North Indian, it would be helpful to learn atleast basic Tamil and you will be accepted. Tamilians are not at all bad people : they are cool and calm and they do not take rash decisions, they are very patient people. And HEY ! I am NOT a Tamilian saying all this : I am myself a North Indian, but settled in Chennai since the last 15 years. Overall, I would say that Chennai is not a bad place at all and it's people are cool and calm.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17929252.post-53322688134345362622007-08-08T17:25:00.000+05:302007-08-08T17:25:00.000+05:30Nice article but I beg to differ. So much so that I've not started work for the day even though it's past 11. (I work from home as a writer). Your posts are captivating, interesting, and keep me glued to my laptop's screen.

I've been told I write well, and I recognize it myself. So the idea to blog is tempting. The only thing holding me back is that I would become the proverbial fish in the glassbowl, my life an open book on view to all and sundry.

Anyway, I'll give it further thought.
