My Favourite Tamil Song

Here's one of my favourite Tamil -- or should I say Tamizh? -- songs belonging to my favourite era, 1975-85. Sung by S.P. Balasubrahmanyam and S. Janaki. Enjoy! -- you don't need to understand the language to do that.

The early refrain goes like this:
have oyster and pearl; but not the time to open it
got brains and savvy; but not the time to write poetry
and later on during what sounds like a second movement, the tune reminds me of an old HIndi song !!

  8. Dear Sree ghosh, VaNakkam
Spell Tamil as Thamil, not Tamizh as the last one has a link with the bad Hindi word,Bath-thamizh.
Despite knowing that years of serious coverage of news have left you with no more appetite for the serious, I do wish to make you to read patiently my very serious blog below having just one article:Pre-Muhamadh Mkkaa and do leave a comment there.
